Thank you for this music and song and masterpiece and diamond and brilliant!!! ❤❤❤😂!!! 😂❤❤❤!!! Overwehlming und Wunderschön und Wunderbar!!! ❤😂❤❤!!! ❤❤😂❤!!! Make my day!!! Buy me!!! Do Something good for me!!! Great Performance!!!
Thank you ! I am glad you enjoyed this performance
Of all the music in the world. Chapman is the greatest. Brought Family in a Dolls House the week it came out, Change my life. Brought every LP, CD Roger made
Beautiful! They have definitely been bringing it to us all those years. They are on MY shortlist and will always be.
I love this Long Version „ Slap bang in the middle“ , is much better than Sex.
Grandios!
The first gig of my life as a 15 year old was RC&The Shortlist in Freiburg, Germany…1981-ish..I was a fledgling guitarist and spent a whole month learning all of Geoff Whitehorn‘s solos from the Live in Hamburg…am a professional guitarist to this day….wearing shackles?Ball and Chain!
I saw Chappo a long time ago with family and over the years in Germany. He always gave great concerts. I am a big Roger Chapman fan.
💪🤌🕺🏼💃
Brilliant musici
Wonderful! Thank you for the legacy.
The greatest!
where Mitch on drums? who is "stretch"?
He is the voice. Roger was part of my life since his first concert in the 70ties in Frankfurt. Thanks so much, pal
Thanks Roger, for being a valuable part of my life. In the 70ties I joined your concerts in Frankfurt and still when you show up I am there.!!!!! Thank you very much!
So good to see Laurie Wisefield playing. Amazing gifted guitarist.
Mega... 🙂🙂🙂
saw Family play this in Edinburgh 73 or 74, brilliant tune.
How can you not remember which year….?
Damn! He's back!
Never left !
No more hairs now
Trembling voice,Demis Roussos' style, but more rockish.
This was a great concert last year, an excellent tribute to John Wetton, and great performances from both the legendary musicians who performed and the young academy singers who performed on every song, the best bit is at 1:15 though, always makes me laugh, you can see how much they are all enjoying it.
Pity they did nt bring on Bobby Tench hes an absolute monster singer and guitar player.
Bobby Tench passed away two weeks ago after a period of illness. I would have been great indeed . You find some clips on YT of Barnes Blues band with Bob.
Just learned this sad news, loved him from Beck thru to Barnes blues.R.I.P. Bobby. Roger sounds as good as ever, a total original, Burlesque is my favourite bass line of all time
Very underrated vocalist
Moth to a Flame needed electric guitar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So does Burlesque lol
Watch the vid Bonn 2015 Moth to a Flame .
That's what I was saying!!!!! It needs electric guitar, and GW is awesome!!!!!!!!@@Chappomusic
@@aqualung4359 Moth to a Flame can be a great song when it’s played acoustic but not in the Simpsons way of an acoustic set.
Laurie Wisefield, one of the UK’s best rock guitarists.
Crikey another version of this song, one of the characteristics of a Chappo gig, you could never anticipate how a song would be played, Crosstown one of my favs was fiddled and diddled with, shanks and twists and turns. Simmo what a star!
... and it's Laurie Wisefield, former member of Wishbone Ash
"This is for you with the big trap, alright?" (48:18) - well, just for once I would have been glad he didn't look at me.
One of the best !
Family released some of the most fantastic music of the seventies . Look at those singles “weavers answer” “in my own time” strange band” “burlesque”…… such original music such imagination and rockin with a funk that no one did till little feat came along. These guys are the dogs bollocks and it’s so good to know that they’re still playin this great great music 😊
One of the greatest shouters ever. 😊
marfă....
Oh joy! My friend the sun with the man himself. I sing this in the pubs on my acoustic and everyone wants to know where it came from and when I tell them about family they just look blank! No idea what they missed. But thanks roger (and everyone else) for some of the greatest and varied music I have ever heard
Oh that voice!!! It reaches out and grabs you by the balls and demands that you listen to it. There’s no one else like mr c . Ever since I first heard family back in the early seventies I’ve been a big big fan of the guy and he can sing me the telephone directory and I’d be jelly !! Thanks for so much great music.
I will never forget the concert in the Musikhalle in Uelzen of all places in the world - no more than 300 people fit in the club and he and his band played for 3 and 1/2 hours … it was a great audience and we had soooo much fun. I will never forget this THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH !
Male Tina Turner.
wonderful piece of music - Thanks!
Bandstand great family album,with anyway
Whether he can hit the notes or not now doesn’t detract from the fact he has one of the most unique characterful voices of all time.
Always good to hear from Laurie Wisefield. 👍
Fantastic, 50 years and Roger still delivers. Thank you, J
super le son l espace
Nice one , it would be good to Chappo and the Shortlist at the Y or anywhere again . Keep on rocking. Cheers 🍻
Corky, Dino, Ginger, Charlie, Ringo and Neal. thank you all
Still got it Roger. !!!!
I love him and his fantastic band, Roger Chapman, very good man and singer!!
I love how the camera stays on the two drunks rather than Corky LOL!!!!!
Who's that twat on keyboards LOL!!!! Who are those twats on bass and guitar!!!!! Get a guy playing Steve Knights parts. Get a FAT Felix BASS!!!! And anyone who can play this guitar even though Leslie HATED it!!!!!!!! FOR FUCKS SAKE!!!!! I could play BASS better than the cunt!!!!!! FUCK i could play EVERYTHING better than those KING DRUMS!!!!!! Do these clown on Bass and Guitar realise than one plays high and the other low!!!! So why do they play high and low together like twats?!!!!!!
He was nicknamed “the sheep” because of his way of singing. People agree that he was a great singer, but few recognize him as a great lyricist. It's time you start listening.
Although Charlie Whitney wrote most of the lyrics, this song included
